Cagney’s images and visions come often and burn within her until released with a passion of line, colour and texture. This passion was ignited deep within her early in life. The free flowing drawings and explosions of primary colours of her youth led to an exploration of inner creativity that continues today. Art is her statement, existence, breath and mark on this world. Cagney’s current work is taking her on a journey of textures, poetry and loose palettes. She is working to bridge the gap between science and art to try and understand human nature as she sees it in the windows that are her eyes. Abstract expressionism leads to contemporary expression. See Cagney in this moment, because she will emerge in the next. Take the time to know her in both moments.

Opening Reception will be Friday, July 2nd from 5:00 pm to midnight
